Foe Yay in Final Fantasy Dissidia (2008-2009) to the max!
1st Box: (FFII)
Firion (commonly referred to as Rosebud by the fandom) has at last encountered Mateus (the Emperor's real name) and is prepared to battle against his archfoe when the latter suddenly breaks out into a classy villain's monologue and boasts of how he will rule the world. And based on Rosebud's reaction, it's pretty awkward. Just in case you're wondering, the word "UNGAAAHBULOUS" is actually a parody of his defeat cry in battle which was originally written as "Ungaaah!" in the 1988 release.
2nd Box: (FFVIII)
Squall meets up with Ultimecia on top of the Chaos Shrine, to which she informs him of Kuja's intention of engaging with the former's partymates in combat. It can be assumed that he is not at all pleased, as he seems overly concerned for these two boys in a way that Team Mom character tropes are expected to be.
3rd Box: (FFVI)
For this duel, Kefka greets Terra in a way that most comedic monstrosities (like the Joker, Shaco, and other demonic clowns) would care to do so. After all, his primary intention is to DESTROY THE WORLD USING HER POWERS just as soon as he gain control. Terra, on the other hand, seems intent on doing otherwise.
4th Box: (FFVII)
And lastly, we have come to one of the most overrated rivalries in video gaming of all time, with a slight twist. As they prepare for a final showdown, Sephiroth comments on Cloud's return as a sign of submitting himself to the One Winged Angel's dominance. While Cloud may appear to be in denial of this statement, it may be difficult to believe him considering where his eyes are focused...
That's basically my perception of what's going on here, but you can have your own opinion.
